The SX-COV aluminum transfer case cooling plate is a very popular product that can be used on your Series I, II or III Land Rover whether you use our overdrive or not.

The cover replaces the flimsy steel plate on the bottom of the transfer case and assists in cooling the transfer case in highway conditions.

As the cover is much stiffer than the original, and expands and contracts at the same rate as the transfer case itself, it completely eliminates the leaks and drips that plague the original design.

The product is supplied with a new set of high-grade bolts and a mounting gasket.  Note that if you have a late Series III model you will also have to order a replacement drain plug SX-PLUG as the plate has Imperial, not Metric, threads.
